Volunteer Experiences

Great Oak is excited to offer valuable volunteer experiences. Great Oak’s programs are volunteer intensive as it can take up to three volunteers for each individual session.​ Volunteers are crucial to our program and horse knowledge is not a requirement. We provide thorough training over the course of two sessions. Volunteers may assist in therapeutic riding lessons, barn management, office administrative tasks, fundraising efforts, or community outreach. In addition, internships are available for high school and college students.​
