Schedule: Part time (Flexible hours, including weekends)
Great Oak EAP is a PATH Intl. member center dedicated to providing inclusive and high-quality equine assisted services. We believe in the power of the human-equine connection to support unbridled growth for individuals of all ages and abilities.
Great Oak is seeking a compassionate and motivated instructor who has a passion for inclusive equine-assisted services.
Responsibilities:
Plan and lead therapeutic riding lessons.
Provide safe, effective, and engaging mounted and unmounted lessons
Support horse care, tack and arena preparation as needed
Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and families to support participants’ goals
Maintain accurate lesson notes and follow safety protocols
Qualifications:
Path Intl. CTRI certification
Solid horsemanship skills
Experience working with individuals with special needs
Strong communication, patience and teamwork skills
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
