Other Ways to Give

In addition to traditional donations, Great Oak is grateful for the many meaningful ways our community supports our mission. Contributions of in-kind gifts, hosting a local event, or participating in programs like Kroger in-store rewards all help sustain our work. Every act of generosity makes a difference and brings our community together around a shared purpose.

In-Kind

In-kind donations play an important role in supporting Great Oak’s programs and operations, from tack and equipment to essential supplies and materials. To learn more about in-kind giving, please contact Debbie at debbie@greatoakeap.org.

Equine Placement Opportunities — Horses with Purpose

We recognize that offering a horse a new purpose is a meaningful decision, and Great Oak is deeply grateful for these contributions. Horse donations are considered on a limited basis to ensure the highest standard of care and program fit. If you are considering donating a horse, please complete our Horse Inquiry Form and email it to our Equine and Facilities Manager, Deborah McWhirter, at debbie@greatoakeap.org to begin the conversation.

Independent Fundraisers

Independent fundraisers are a meaningful way for supporters to engage their networks and make a difference for Great Oak. Whether you’re thinking of hosting a local event, organizing a community challenge, or rallying friends and family around a shared cause, we’d love to hear about it. These efforts help raise vital support for our programs and bring people together in a spirit of generosity.
